I went in to trade mt CF Froce 500. I liked the Brute 450 and made the deal. Over the weekend , I watch videos and realized there was no EPS on the Brute 450. I decided to cancel the deal. The manager, Dan was not upset, he was very nice about it and did not try to sell me something I didn't want. He had my bike ready for me to pick up, loaded the bike for me and wish me a great day. I felt guilty about cancelling the deal and I appreciated that he was so understanding.
Great customer service and staff but they need a new mechanic. Had my bike in to get the tires changed and they were unable to balance them properly themselves and then gave the bike back to me unsafe. -Extremely loose chain and back tire was completely out of alignment -Cotter pin on real axle nut was completely small snapped off and they did not replace it -Rear axle nut was loose -Extremely dirty and greasy back tire and rim
Recent interest in the new Kawasaki Ridge UTV had me visit Wheels and Waves in Trenton. The sales lady was very nice. Given that these side by sides end up near $40k, i asked if a very brief test ride would be possible , to check out engine noise at 40 km an hour as many side-by-sides are intolerably loud at these speeds. This could easily have been accomplished in their huge paved lot. The sales person seemed ok with it but she needed to asked her “boss” , who was standing nearby. I explained to the boss, my concerns about engine noise and that I’d like to just do a very brief one minute test run outside at slow speeds , to address my concerns . The manager was quite rude and condescending , replying that if I had done my research online properly , I wouldn’t need to test ride the vehicle. He further stated that he didn’t want to get a side-by-side muddy as it would turn off potential buyers to see a mud caked vehicle, despite the fact that there was no intention of taking it off road and indeed there were no off-road opportunities there anyways. The manager was rude , impolite , and condescending. I subsequently called Cameron cycle in Peterborough , who were agreeable to the test ride , and Anstruther Marine nearby Apsley also agreed to let me drive the vehicle. .Belleville Lawn and Sport also agreed to pull the Ridge out of their showroom to allow a brief test run. My Ridge will be delivered within one day , but due to the snarky attitude by the manager , they lost a sale . Time to go to a customer service course
